Brian Whelan is a Vice President of Northwest Atlantic and responsible for identifying and procuring sites for Costco Wholesale in the Midwestern United States.
Brian joined Northwest Atlantic in 2001 to focus on Costco’s Midwest expansion. Prior to joining Northwest Atlantic, Brian was Director of Acquisitions for Tri-Land Properties, a Chicago-based full-service commercial real estate company specializing in the development and redevelopment of retail properties. Prior to this, he worked for a number of years as a Senior Real Estate Manager for National Super Markets in St. Louis, Missouri. National was a wholly owned subsidiary of Loblaw Companies Limited, Canada’s largest food distributor, with operating divisions in both St. Louis and New Orleans, Louisiana. |
